We are located on historic Main Street in St. Charles, Missouri with a satellite office in Dallas, Texas and an eye toward expansion to new locations as we continue to grow.

Senior Industrial Hygienist
This position is an excellent opportunity for a highly self-sufficient and self-motivated individual who will have a big impact in a specialized industry. The right candidate will work directly with company owners, while also operating autonomously for clients nationwide.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field; Master of Science degree a plus
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential required, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and other credentials encouraged
- 5-15 years of experience in the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of workplace hazards; experience with safety, construction, and/or heavy industry a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills; public speaking experience and industry publications a plus
- High level research and investigatory problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, along with the ability to work effectively both individually and in a team setting
Job Duties
- Prepare for and conduct site evaluations of industrial and commercial facilities for the purpose of identifying and evaluating workplace hazards, encouraging risk reduction, recommending appropriate hazard controls, and promoting compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and/or other applicable regulatory agencies and organizations
- Prepare for and conduct exposure evaluations (qualitative and quantitative IH surveys) for such workplace and environmental hazards as particulates, silica, welding fumes, solvents, gases, noise, mold spores, asbestos, lead, etc.
- Interact with laboratories, vendors, and other resources regarding sampling media/methods, direct-reading instruments, specialty equipment, and equipment calibration requirements
- Provide project support, as needed, for asbestos, lead, and mold abatement/remediation projects, including site inspections, remediation oversight, and air clearance sampling
- Apply professional experience to determine and present unbiased results of environmental and workplace safety assessments for numerous types of clients in a variety of settings
- Report on findings and conclusions in technical and non-technical terms, both verbally and in writing, including formal reports, letters, emails, and phone communications
- Interact professionally with clients to coordinate scheduling of surveys and other activities including preparation of cost estimates and invoices
- Develop and deliver professional presentations to clients, trade organizations, and special interest groups; develop/nurture client relationships; and promote the company to new and existing clients
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending conferences and educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal professional networks, participating in professional societies, etc.
- Travel out-of-town /overnight up to 20% of the time, including occasional weekend work as dictated by the client or project schedule; make own travel arrangements (including air, rental cars, hotels, etc.); and accurately track incurred expenses
- Learn to operate technical field monitoring equipment
- Maintain a valid driver’s license, adequate auto insurance (minimum $100,000), and reliable transportation to and from the office and project sites
- Pass pre-employment and periodic drug screens, background checks, and DMV checks
- Pass regular medical surveillance, pulmonary function test, and fit-testing for occasional respirator use
- Possess the ability to perform common physical tasks such as: climb a ladder, maneuver in and on buildings and structures, lift up to 50 pounds, carry instruments/equipment or tools while walking extensively, work in high noise areas and in areas with potential chemical hazards, and work occasionally in confined areas (tanks, vaults, etc.) and under extreme environmental conditions (heat/cold)

Environmental Engineer / Industrial Hygienist

Environmental Inspector / Air Sampling Technician
This position requires an energetic and detail-oriented individual with the ability to master new information and equipment quickly, and an interest in working in a wide variety of industrial, commercial, and construction settings. This position offers a great balance of field and office work, with opportunities to learn directly from senior project managers to maximize professional growth, with a goal becoming an integral member of our highly skilled team.
Position Requirements
- College Degree (or classes) preferred, High School diploma required at a minimum
- 0-5 years of experience, work in a related field or similar industry a plus

Job Duties
- Conduct asbestos, lead, and mold inspections in various industrial, manufacturing, school, medical, and residential settings in teams with a more senior inspector or independently for smaller projects
- Conduct abatement/remediation oversight and air sampling support for asbestos, lead, and mold projects working under the direction of a Project Manager to ensure compliance with all applicable abatement/remediation specifications, contractual requirements, safety guidelines, and local, state, and federal regulations
- Provide Industrial Hygiene air monitoring support working under the direction of a Certified Industrial Hygienist to evaluate chemical, biological, physical, and environmental hazards in the workplace
- Interact professionally with clients to coordinate scheduling of surveys and communicate testing results
- Travel out-of-town /overnight up to 20% of the time, including occasional weekend work as dictated by the client or project schedule; make own travel arrangements (including air, rental cars, hotels, etc.); and accurately track incurred expenses for reimbursement
- Learn to operate technical field monitoring equipment
- Maintain valid EPA and/or state training certificates in asbestos and lead
- Maintain a valid driver’s license, adequate auto insurance (minimum $100,000), and reliable transportation to and from the office and project sites

- Pass regular medical surveillance, pulmonary function test, and respirator fit-testing; periodic use of a respirator is required
